Citrus Sangria
Egg Nog
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup sugar, plus 1 tablespoon
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 ounces bourbon
- 2 tbsp ‘Oliv’s Cinnamon Pear Balsamic’
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 4 egg whites
DIRECTIONS:
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg yolks until creamy and lightened in color. Gradually add the 1/3 cup sugar and continue to beat until it is completely dissolved. Set aside. In a medium saucepan, over high heat, combine the milk, heavy cream, and cinnamon sticks and bring just to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and gradually temper the hot mixture into the egg and sugar mixture. Return everything to the pot and cook until the mixture reaches 160 F. Remove from the heat, stir in the bourbon and ‘Cinnamon Pear Balsamic’, pour into a medium mixing bowl, and chill. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the egg whites to soft peaks. With the mixer running gradually add the 1 tablespoon of sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Whisk the egg whites into the chilled mixture. Ladle into your festive glass and top with whipping cream and grated cinnamon for extra holiday cheer!
OLiV Cosmopolitan
- 1.5 oz Vodka
- 1.5 oz Cranberry Juice
- 1/2 oz OLiV Tangerine Dark Balsamic
- 1/2 oz or Squeeze of Fresh Lime
- Garnish with a Slice of Lime
DIRECTIONS:
Fill your martini glass with ice cubes, to cool it off while you mix your cocktail. In a cocktail shaker, add a cup of ice and your Vodka, Cranberry Juice, OLiV Tangerine Dark Balsamic Vinegar, and Lime Juice. Shake it up! Empty the ice from your martini glass and pour in your drink (straining the ice if you prefer). Add a slice or a twist of lime as a garnish on the rim of your glass. And Voilà! Sip and savour your delicious OLiV Cosmopolitan!
Jalapeno Lime Margarita
- 2 oz Tequila (we prefer silver!)
- 1 1/2 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz OLiV Jalapeño Lime White Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- Optional: Lime Wedge and Salt, for rimming the glass
DIRECTIONS:
If you would like a salt-rimmed glass, run a lime wedge all the way around the rim of the glass. Pour your salt into a small dish (around the same size as the diameter of your glass). Dip the rim of your glass in this dish to coat it with salt. Add ice and remaining ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake it up! If you would like it a bit sweeter, add more OLiV Jalapeño Lime White Balsamic Vinegar. Fill a glass with ice and pour the contents of the shaker over top. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
Lemon Rose Gin & Tonic
- 1 1/2 oz Dillon’s Gin Rose
- 1 oz OLiV Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar
- Tonic Water
- Fresh Lemon Wedge or Twist
DIRECTIONS:
Fill a short glass with ice cubes. Pour in Dillon’s Rose Gin and OLiV Lemon White Balsamic. Fill the rest of your glass with tonic water. Give it a good stir and garnish with a fresh lemon wedge or a twist of lemon rind. Sip away!
Spicy Caesar
- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1/4 oz OLiV Chili Balsamic Vinegar
- Few drops of Worcestershire Sauce
- Clamato Juice
- Lime Wedge
- Celery salt to rim
- Olives (or your choice of garnish)
DIRECTIONS:
Rim a highball glass with celery salt. Fill with ice and add your Vodka, OLiV Chili Balsamic, and Worcestershire sauce. Top the glass with Clamato juice and garnish with a lime wedge and a few olives.
Honey Ginger Lemonade Mule
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz OLiV Honey Ginger White Balsamic Vinegar
- Ginger Beer or Ale
- Lemon
DIRECTIONS:
Fill a mule glass with ice. Add vodka, lemon juice, and OLiV Honey Ginger White Balsamic. Top with ginger beer/ale and garnish with a wedge or twist of lemon.
Strawberry Peach Sangria
- 1 bottle White Wine
- 1/2 cup White Rum
- 1/4 cup Peach Schnapps
- 1/8 cup of OLiV White Balsamic Vinegar, either Peach or Strawberry Peach
- 1 cup Strawberries, sliced
- 1 Peach, sliced
- Club Soda
DIRECTIONS:
Combine the first six ingredients in a pitcher. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Pour into glasses and top each with Club Soda. Garnish with a slice of peach.
Strawberry Peppercorn Twist
- 1/2 cup of hulled & chopped Strawberries
- 1/2 oz of OLiV Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- Strawberry and Mint Leaf for Garnish
- Cracked Pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Pour into a martini shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a mint leaf and a strawberry. Finish off with a sprinkle of cracked pepper.
Great Canadian Cocktail
- 1 oz Whiskey
- 1/2 oz OLiV Maple Balsamic
- Ginger Ale
- Lemon
DIRECTIONS:
Fill a collins glass with ice, add Whiskey and OLiV Maple Balsamic. Top with Ginger Ale and garnish the glass with a twist or wedge of Lemon.
Pineapple Lime Mojito
- 1.5 oz White Rum
- 1 oz White Lime Balsamic Vinegar
- Fresh Mint Leaves
- Pineapple Juice
- Club Soda
DIRECTIONS:
In a Highball glass, muddle mint leaves and White Lime Balsamic. Add ice and white rum. Finish off with equal parts pineapple juice and club soda.
Blueberry Basil Lemonade
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1 tbsp. Blueberries
- 3-4 Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1 oz OLiV White Lemon Balsamic Vinegar
- Lemonade
DIRECTIONS:
In a glass, add blueberries, basil, and OLiV White Lemon Balsamic. Muddle the three ingredients. Top with ice, vodka, and lemonade. Flavour tip: prepare ice cubes with fresh basil leaves and lemon slices!
Citrus Sangria
- 1 Bottle Moscato (or White Wine of choice)
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 2 cups Soda Water
- 2 oz OLiV White Tropical Passion Balsamic Vinegar
- Sliced Oranges and Strawberries
- Ice Cubes
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher. Pour into a glass and garnish with a strawberry!
